How to Win at Online Slots Games

Being a winning slot machine player is impossible. All slot machines are specifically designed in order to give the house a long term edge, so the house will always come out ahead if you play long enough. The only real way to counteract the house edge on slot machine games is to play a game with a really big jackpot, bet the max every time you play, and hope that you hit the jackpot. Then when you do hit the really big jackpot, guess what you do next? Stop playing that game.

Do not get me wrong. I'm not saying that you should not play slot machines. In fact, I think slot games, especially the really good ones, are a lot of fun. But you want to keep in the forefront of your mind that mathematically, what you're doing when you're playing a slot machine on a long term basis is paying for entertainment. You can calculate how much you're paying for that entertainment by multiplying the house edge times your average bet times your number of spins per hour.

For example, if you're playing a slot game with a payout of 95%, then the house edge is 5%. (The casino keeps 5% of every bet you make long term.) And if you're average bet is $ 3, then you're going to pay an average of 15 cents per spin to the house. (5% times $ 3.) Assuming you're making 500 spins per hour, that game costs you $ 75 / hour to play, which may or may not be a reasonable price for you entertainment. That depends on your bankroll.

Something else to factor into your calculation is how much the perks and bonuses you're getting back from the casino are worth. If you're playing in a land-based casino where you're getting free drinks while you play, then you can subtract the cost of those drinks from you're hourly cost. (Or you can add the cost of those drinks to the value of the entertainment you're receiving – it's just a matter of perspective.) My recommendation is to drink top-shelf liquor and premium beers in order to maximize the entertainment value you 'Re receiving. A Heineken can cost $ 4 a bottle in a nice restaurant. Drink two Heinekens an hour, and you've just lowered what it costs you to play each hour from $ 75 to $ 68.

Slot clubs also give back a percentage of your losses each hour, so definitely be sure you join the casino's slot club and ALWAYS use your card to track your play. There's absolutely no reason not to do this. Casinos also reward their larger slot players with comps like meals, show tickets, and free rooms, which all add up to reduce the amount of money you're spending each hour that you're playing on their machine.

So how to be a winning slot machine player? I'd sum it up by saying know how much it's costing you to play each spin …

Factors to Consider Before Buying a Property

Everybody dreams of owning a house at one point of time. But possessing a house is no joke. It requires careful consideration and planning to make such a heavy investment. A lot many things have to be kept in mind before buying any property. The main concern is finance but there are so many other things that are directly related to it.

Here are some factors that should be considered before buying a property:

1) Stability of income: Doing well in your work and earning good money may excite you to buy property at the moment. But it is very important to analyze your financial condition before making any big purchase. How stable your job is at the moment, will your salary increase in some time, what are your other expenses and how safe is it to invest in an asset are some of the most important questions to answer. If you’re uncertain of your future income situation, then picking up a mortgage isn’t a really good idea at the moment. Wait for some time and save more money for down payment.

2) Credit Score: A credit score is a statistical number that depicts a person’s creditworthiness. Lenders use a credit score to evaluate the possibility of a person to repay his debts. It also determines the rate of interest at which the mortgage will be given if it gets approved by the bank or creditors.

3) Personal commitments: What are your personal goals? What expenses do you see in the near future? Are you getting married or planning a baby? What are the expenses that may delay your mortgage buying? All these events will incur heavy expenses and may delay your property buying task. Ask these questions to yourself and consult your dear ones before planning to take such a major step.

4) Real Estate scenario: What is the real estate trend in your area? Are the property prices going upwards or are in a stable state. If the prices have gone up, will your finances allow you to make that purchase? Some area of your city may be attracting a lot many builders hence the rate of property might be on an upsurge. If the prices are going down, you may be lucky in buying your desired property at affordable rate.

5) Expectations from the property: Buying a home may be for different purposes- it could be for your own use or may be your second home i.e. investment. Since investing in real estate is considered to be the safest bet, a lot many people buy homes and put it on rent to get returns. If you are buying it for your own purpose, you may prefer a specific locality or a specific area, but if buying for investment, you may overlook such points and just concentrate on buying a property that may suit your budget.…

Father’s Day an Occasion to Honor Fatherhood

Father’s Day is an occasion to honor fatherhood. A father is not just a bread winner but someone who is looked up to for guidance. He shoulders the responsibility of the entire family. His acts of love are often taken for granted. We don’t always seem to see the effort he puts in to run the house. We often fail to take notice, mostly because we see his acts of love more as an obligation.

Yet, a father is someone who sacrifices his time and energy selflessly so that you could live comfortably.

The history of Father’s Day takes us way back to the early 1900s, and was inspired by Mother’s Day services which began in 1908.

Mrs. Sonora Dodd was the first person to come up with the idea of celebrating Father’s Day. She wanted to pay tribute to her late father, William Smart, who became a single parent when her mother died in childbirth. Her father raised 6 children on his own, which was a big feat at that time.

Mrs. Dodd wanted to hold a memorial service on the anniversary of her father’s death, June 5th 1910. However, since the organizers had less time at hand, the date of the service was postponed to June 19th. Since then, the third Sunday of June was observed as Father’s Day.

It was not until 1924, that President Coolidge of US recommended Father’s Day as a national holiday. 48 years later, President Nixon of US officially recognized Father’s Day in 1972.

Father’s day is not just an occasion but a celebration, a way to thank our father for all the love he has shown. It is a day to build strong paternal bonds, a day to make society aware of the hidden force that constantly works for their family’s well being.

The most humble way of saying thank you to your father is by giving him a gift. Instead of falling into the trap of gifting a typical -boring gift, keep some time aside to think about him, and what he likes. Remember, men too have desire for things that they may want dearly but they won’t justify buying it for themselves. If you could learn of this secret, you have already won half the battle in making him feel special.

The gift doesn’t have to be very expensive or too extravagant. The gift should be something that comes from the heart.

When you recall all the wonderful things your father has done for you over the years, it can be a challenging task to know where to start and how would you like to pay tribute to him. With Father’s Day on the way, it’s a perfect way to make him feel special.

Speaking of gifts to be given to your dad, gadgets and technology are the best gift choice and are equivalent to the choice of diamonds to a woman. Try gifting him something interesting. Making the gift exclusive is all the more heart warming. For example, if …

Landlord – Evicted Tenant Breaks Back Into Your Property

I am a landlord. I have the gray hair to prove it. If that is not enough to prove it, I have some of the most amazing, head-shaking, wtf stories to back it up. Here are some of the more imaginative experiences that I have had as a landlord.

Tenant worked as a janitor at a church while he was waiting for his singing career as a christian musician to take off. He claimed he had tithed all of his rent money that month because he felt the church would do better good with the money. He never could explain why he tithed more than then 10% of my income to the church and didn’t donate the balance of the 90% of his income to cover his rent. So I evicted him. On eviction day, the sheriff had the eviction company through everything in the corner of the parking lot instead of on the street. My maintenance man was there to change the locks on the front door. After Work I was to meet my business partner at the property so we would drag all the items from parking lot to street. This included multiple bed frames, complete mattress sets, all of his and his 2 children’s clothing, washer & dryer, and everything else.

When I arrived at property two hours after the eviction I realized that everything was gone from the parking lot. I figured the tenant had come by with a truck to collect all of his belongings. I went inside the property to check the condition of the interior. Much to my surprise I discover the tenant had broken in the back door and had moved all of his belongings back inside the property. I call the police. He calls his church.

Next thing we have is multiple police cars and the minister and about 25 people from the church. The church people decide to join hands and ring the property and start singing christian songs. Of course my evicted tenant is standing in the middle singing the loudest solo I have ever heard. When not singing they are praying for the redemption of my soul since I refuse to evict his belongings from the property  a second time in a three hour time period.

I am telling the police to have the tenant arrested from criminal trespassing. His possessions are now my possessions and I have no intention of giving any of it back. The police handcuff the tenant and place him in the back of the squad car. The minister steps up and decides to broker a deal. With the police watching the proceedings, my business partner and I start to lug some of the possessions out of the property and place them in the parking lot. The members of the church then start bidding on buying the items. Once we got close to the amount I was owed on back rent, I decided to sell everything else for $1. The church members just happened …

Winning Roulette Against All Odds

Charles DeVille Wells was said to be "The Man Who Broke the Bank in Monte Carlo." An enduring mystique has grown around this story even inspiring a song about it. It was also said that he accomplished this feat using the "Labouchere" or Cancellation System. It's hard to say how much truth there is to the legend, but I do know this is an insidious little system that seems to win on balance until a long series of unfavorable decisions creates a catastrophic loss. Wells died broke in 1926.

Roulette is one of the simplest of all casino games but holds a remarkable fascination for it's followers. The crudest recorded versions date back to the ancient Greeks and Romans. The modern game we know today began in France in the 1800's. The name Roulette is a French word meaning "little wheel."

In England a variation of the game was called EO (stood for even / odd) and in the 1800's America's wild west saloons they played another variation of a wheel game called Faro.

The European version of roulette is designed with 36 numbers and a single 0. With an odds payout of 35 to 1 the house percentage is vastly more favorable than the double zero wheel that is used on this side of the Atlantic.

With the single zero wheel and a feature called "en prison," the house percentage is 2.7%. When the zero appears, all wagers on the outside of the table (odd / even, red / black, high / low) are not lost and stay on the table for the next spin or the player has the option to forfeit half his bet. These features reduce the casino's percentage to 2.7% and on even money wagers it further reduced to 1.35%.

Roulette in American casinos employs a zero / double zero on their wheel and is a world apart from the European ones. Using the 0/00 added to the 36 numbers increases the casino's advantage to 5.26% which is why the game enjoys much greater popularity in European casinos than it does here in the US The payoff on winning bets are the same, 35 to 1, the Negative house percentage is double.

Despite the increased house edge against the player, there are still some advantages to playing roulette. First, it can be a very relaxing game and provides a nice diversion from some of the more serious table games. It can be an enjoyable way to pass the time.

Secondly, since it is a game with a low expectation of a winning income, it can be played with very low table minimums or starting capital.

This is not to say that it is impossible for the intelligent player to win playing roulette. On the contrast, compared to wagering on slot machines or the BIG 6 wheel where the percentages range from 10% on certain machines, to as high as 18% against the player it is by far a better bet.

Although I regularly hear the …

5 Tips To Capture Pictures For Your Business Website

When visitors see your design of any website, they hope to see images. Top-notch photographs make an excellent impression. That’s why you ought to give extra consideration to images on your website.

Here are a few tips that will help you take amazing pictures for your business website.

1. Capture Low Resolution Pictures

Don’t be surprised because you read it right – Low Resolution. Capturing images for sites is quite different from capturing photographs that are used to make prints. Site images are by and large captured at 72dpi, which implies that even a 640 x 480 picture is genuinely enough.

You can most likely set the camera for around 1280 x 960 pixels or similar. If you decide to go against this idea, then the outcome will be a bigger file size that will slow down the speed of your website pages. In reality, the photos on any common webpage are just 248×164 in size.

No matter what resolution you pick, edit the photos so they are the right size required on your webpage, and then use them on your business site. Try to compress the images if they are in JPEG (.jpg) format. You can easily make this change by setting the picture quality when it is saved. Don’t try to upload full-size images and then resize them with HTML.

2. Lighting

Ensure the photos you get are sufficiently bright. By and large, evade the utilisation of flash unless it is necessary or utilised as fill-in flash. The principle source of light need not be behind the subject, like a bright window behind the subject. You won’t like getting dark images with low contrast.

3. Focus and Composition

Every single advanced digital camera capture images that are in focus, however is the focus on what you need? While you’re capturing a photograph of a man or woman, you need to get background out of focus to ensure that it doesn’t cause any distraction. Abstain from taking long-distance shots of groups. No one will take a look at their feet; rather you should focus on taking close-ups.

Similarly, if you own an office or a store, a photo of your workplace exterior or an interior may look amazing, additionally take close-ups of individual counters, walls with good displays, so that website visitors can easily observe the type of products and services you offer. To get highly professional images for your business website, you should hire an expert photographer who can deliver results.

4. Viewpoint

Lower your camera (bend down) while capturing photographs of individual. This will allow your camera to come at bust height, and not at the height you would be at if you’ve chosen to stand up.

5. Setting Camera Colour Temperature

No matter what sort of image you capture, the camera need to be set to coordinate with the source of light. Try not to rely on upon your camera to choose this setting automatically. All cameras have settings like Sunlight, Cloudy, Fluorescent, Incandescent, so you …

City Times and Other Poems

Vihang A. Naik’s compendium of poetry, entitled City Times and Other Poems, is a delightful selection of delectable poems written in free verse. This collection is brief, yet profound and provides the reader with a thought-provoking and enchanting manner is which to spend an hour or two.

City Times and Other Poems is divided into six sections that all feature a similar theme. The first section, “The Love Song of a Lost Journeyman,” acts as the prelude to the rest of the collection. Each piece in this particular section speaks to the rather fleeting nature of many of the most profound moments in one’s life, whether those particular instances are filled profound joy, intense melancholy, or a deject apathy. A soulful reader will find commiseration in this section, as he or she will be able to reflect on the sparse beauty of the poetry and inflect his or her own respective emotions into the words.

The section “Mirrored Man,” reads as a series of the author’s autobiographical reminisces and observations, many of which can be construed as nearly universal feelings of questioning and curiosity. The third poem of “Mirrored Man,” is a musing on the nature of appearances, and how the outward skin is often unreflective of the true nature of the interior. The author’s metaphor of a chameleon’s ability to change its skin at will is undoubtedly profound. Further, the untitled seventh poem of this section reflects on the truth that a mirror holds, and this particular poem’s many layers of meaning show a full depth of authorial skill on the part of Naik.

The section “Path of Wisdom,” collectively holds some of the strongest poems in the entirety of the collection. Each poem here holds minute and masterful philosophical tidbits that stay with the reader long after the pages of the book are closed. Inspiring the reader to make the most of his or her life, to be kind, to be patient, and dozens of other different profound pieces of advice, “Path of Wisdom” is by far the most uplifting and deep portion of Naik’s work.’

The final section shares the work’s title of “City Times.” Here Naik places the unquestionably longest poem of his collection, recalling what is presumably his own trip to his grandfather’s house in India. As Naik describes passing by his grandfather’s photograph, through a musty attic filled with long-forgotten paraphernalia, and to a dusty desk, the reader can almost imagine themselves present, filled with a sense of longing and nostalgia. This poem will speak to any reader who has visited the former home of a deceased loved one and there has experienced a flood of contradictory emotions.

Although some of the poems in City Times and Other Poems may prove too dense or abstract for any but the hardiest and most experienced of poetry aficionados, Naik’s collection will ultimately prove a delight to any reader looking for a profound and thoughtful collection of poetry.…

The Signage Evolution

Do you may remember the classic porcelain service station signs illuminated with high-watt light bulbs, like “Texaco” and “Skelly” (which are now highly valued collector items)?

Then came the vacuum-formed, plastic-faced signs that were backlit with fluorescent lamps and used a marquis with changeable plastic “Wagner” or “ZIP” letters for specials and fuel pricing.

Yes, the sign industry has evolved over the past few decades. Today, large LED displays offer high impact, animated message systems that employ a marketing strategy.

One of the latest contributions to the signage evolution is interior digital video signage. More and more restaurants, retailers, service locations and medical offices are using these displays for various content to engage their customers.

“Video enhances the customer experience: People like videos and have come to expect them. And often videos are the best way to impart the information. Video boosts customer service by increasing customer engagement, leading to higher customer satisfaction.” – Right Answers Inc.

The days of the static white board food menu are being replaced with high definition product photographs and videos with brief descriptions and pricing. Digital menu boards help customers make decisions faster and more accurately, while reducing order and wait times. CarterEnergy customer, Sugarfoot C-Store & BBQ, experienced this first-hand when they made the decision to go with digital menu boards for their BBQ and their new Fresh Burrito Bar in their C-Store.

Digital signage is being utilized to highlight a menu of specific auto services that KCI Auto Care offers while customers are traveling through Kansas City International Airport (KCI). Big-O-Tires uses their digital signage for service pricing and to educate customers with Auto Seasonal Preparation videos.

Other digital sign applications include interactive (touchscreen) building directories and wayfinding kiosks, company information in lobbies, trade show booths, in-store video billboards, video walls, cylinders and boxes, to name a few.

But in all things digital signage, bigger is often better. Considered the avant-garde of digital signage solutions, video walls, aka architectural media or techorating, depending on the application, can influence the ambiance of the building by the way it is integrated into the environment. Similarly, creative content can stimulate the senses, arouse and influence behavior that complements the purpose of building designs, which reinforces and extends the core brand image. Dynamic content can immerse control rooms, wrap around buildings, decorate expansive interiors with artistic displays, and provide interactive content into an exciting and over-the-top visual experience.

Take a moment to notice the digital signage around you, and you will be amazed how prevalent and creative this marketing tool has become.…
